I’ve been looking into getting one and I have no idea where to start. I would just like to be able to buy songs, download them to an mp3 player and listen to them when I work out. I’m writing in English because I’m in the US and prices are probably different here. Thanks!

I think you can get a reasonable one for just about 75 dollars, although its not going to be state of the art of course.
Depending on where you buy it.
Frankly you can get some decent electronic stuff even at walmart.
One of the comparison places I like to use is http://www.testfreaks.com
because they offer price comparisons and the information is so good, not biased like..
Take a walk through some of those reviews and you might get some help.
I buy a lot of camera lenses and I used them to pick a couple.. the reviews are fairly helpful and pretty generic, not really leaning toward one brand or another.
It beats having to play with every single one til you find the one you want.
it depends upon ur choice if u wnt lrge memory it might cost more. it would be good if u buy mp3 player around 8 gb. u cn put fav songs. u cn get it cheap frm verzion ny
well if you are looking for a good 2 GIGABYTE mp3 player it cost you around 40-80$
you should get a Sansa with 2 gigabytes I bought one for $60.00 and it works great.
It depends how much memory you want and what features you want in an mp3 player. If you are just looking for something simple that only plays music, you can get a nice player for as little as $35. Take a look at the Sandisk Sansa Clip for this kind of player: http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Sansa-Clip…
If you are looking for something with a little more memory and maybe some photo or video capabilities, the Sandisk Sansa Fuze or the Creative Zen are great, affordable options. Here’s the Fuze: http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Sansa-Fuze…
And here’s the Zen: http://www.amazon.com/Creative-Portable-…
For something with maximum battery life, Sony is a great brand to look at, and their sound quality is excellent. http://www.amazon.com/Sony-Walkman-Video…
